| Progressive poker happenings/thought in Ontario is rare....remember that their attitude is that they are doing us a big favour by allowing us to play...hence the up to $5/7.50 chop on 5-10 | ||

| Nope. BCC does not (yet) spread tournaments. I know Rama was having them weekly - Sit n goes plus multi-tables (up to 3 tables, I believe), but I heard they stopped for the Summer. Not sure about Blue Heron (Port Perry). Never been there myself. Yeah, the rake for $5-10 at Brantford is 10%, up to a max of $5. It's fairly steep, but not terrible when compared to the old $3-6 at Rama, which raked up to $5 as well (ugh!) Apparently some $2-4 games even rake up to $5. Games like this are marginally beatable, at best. | ||

| There are no tournaments at Brantford and no plans for tournaments there, but there are tournaments at Great Blue Herron casino in Port Perry. There was one two days ago in fact. They are on Wednesdays during the day and you need to register in person at least 24 hours before hand (so they rope you into playing a session there beforehand). The tournaments are $100 buy in and they are limited to 88 players (8 tables of 11) and they start of as limit and are limit during the rebuy period. After the rebuy period they become no limit. There are three remaining tournaments this year. They are on September 24, November 19, and December 16. | ||
