| Problem: Side Pot Q1. How we can handle Side pots in a poker game? How money distribution goes on if there is a side pot case in a poker game? Kindly answer this question by considering a good example of side pot case? | ||

| This goes along with your all-in post. Player A has 200, Player B has 400, Player C has 800. (consider these numbers after the blinds and after the flop) Player A leads and bets 200 (all-in) Player B raises to 300, Player C calls. One pot is created with 600, which Player A can win. He can only win 200 from each of the players since he only had 200 to put up. The remaining 200 (100 from B, 100 from C) goes into a sidepot for B & C to play for. Next round Player B bets his remaining 100, Player C can only call because there's no more money on the table. Everyone shows their hands. If Player A beats B & C, he wins the first sidepot of 600, and B & C battle it out for the 2nd pot of 400 (200 from first round, and 200 from last round of betting). If Player A loses to either, he is out, and whomever had the best hand between B & C would take whole pot. on 29. Jul 2003 03:54 mandeep wrote: > Problem: Side Pot > > Q1. | Hi Mandeep Player A bets $50 all-in......Player B calls the $50.....Player C calls and raises $50 all-in.........Player B calls......Since everyone is all-in the cards are run out.......Player A plays for a $150 (The total sum of his wagers that were covered) Player A, B and C each contributed $50 to that pot......Player A can win no more and cannot be folded to a bet. Players B and C play for the remaining $100....If they had money they could bet, but could NOT fold player A to a bet.....The pots are separate issues! If player A has the best hand he wins the "main" pot...and players B and C play for the "side pot". Do you understand?? Roy Cooke poton 29. Jul 2003 03:54 mandeep wrote: > Problem: Side Pot > > Q1.
