| Hey all. I'm thinking about finally taking a stab at playing online for real money (I've played a few sessions at my local cardroom, 3/6), but I'm wanting to start out super small. (I don't want to make a huge investment if I find out playing on the internet isn't my thing.) I've downloaded almost EVERY online casino software I could find, and I've played at the practice tables at each and every one of them. I was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to voice their opinions about which sites offer a semi-newbie the best chance at success at the real low limits. I know there has been great debate about which online cardroom is the best, and I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here, but I was hoping to get some info about the specific limits I'm thinking of playing. I'm not too concerned with bonuses, etc., I'm more interested in the level/quality of players. Also, after I figure out which site I'll be playing at, does anyone have any advice to give about how to select the best table to sit down at? From what I understand, playing at a loose-passive table is most desireable (correct?), but what's a good tip off to find out if the table I'm considering sitting down at is a good one? Thanks a bunch. | ||

| Pokersars offers .01/.02 blind real money no limit hold em and pot limit Omaha as well as .02/.04 limit holdem and omaha and I believe .04/.08 stud and stud 8/b. However these games play like play money games. The play is not typical of what you might see at even slightly higher limits | ||

| UB has tables for .01/.02 - So that might be a decent choice. I also want to pass on a bit of info....watch what site you use to deposit your money, most sites will not accept visa/mastercard so you will have to use firepay or netteller - But on those sites look for what they are going to charge you to redeposit your $$ because sites put the money back into those accounts first (up to the amount your orig deposit). FOr example Firepay charges $10 to redeposit money back into your checking account! Does anyone know any way arround this? | ||
