I am buying chips for a 10 person holdem game and was wondering how many chips I would need to start.

You're probably best off buying 500 chips and getting a nice case while you are at it.

www.pokerstore.net - his prices are very reasonable and in Canadian dollars (so for US dollars divide everything by 1.4)

The following make up my chipset. 150 white, 150 red, 100 green, 50 black, 50 yellow. For cash games then we have enough of the standard colours and for ante games the yellow can be used as <$1 chips or for tournaments they can be used as T1000.
