| Hey Don, just read your post regarding my Wilson Turbo post. For the record, that was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek posting. I am not seriously suggesting that the software program is rigged. Do I sound that stupid? I was merely inquiring about whether others find the software fully and accurately simulates real tournament play and results based on decisions made. But thanks for making me feel like a shmo!! | ||

| mroban, first I was responding to Chasepoker's joke about CNN. Secondly, I apologize if you took my comments that I was trying to put you down. I wasn't, really :=) You have made reference to that KK vs my AK in the UPF tourney a couple of times, and I was just trying to be humorous. In fact, I probably made a bad call with the AK. Someone else mentioned that AK is a drawing hand. I have been playing the Party Lucky Dollar thing and several set and goes since the UPF tourney, trying to learn how to play. I do know that I made several mistakes in the UPF tourney. I was very lucky to finish 8th in that tourney. Money wise I have broke about even, but the money I would have made in the ring games would have added up since I have been winning in ring games for the past 3 or 4 months. I like the NL tourneys though since they are a lot of fun. Again, please accept my apologies. I did not mean to offend you. Oh, and by the way, the Wilson software appeared to be too complex for this old dog when I tried it out several months ago on a trial basis. Maybe I should give it another try. Don Quixote on 23. | No worry Don. I am not harboring any ill feelings about our hand in the tournament. Its poker!! I didn't even realize that was you (diogenes, right?). Anyway, I probably got too touchy, but felt that I had a legit question that turned into a big joke (which is pretty funny, I admit). Anyway, no need to apologize really. And hey, if there actually WAS an ace on board when you went all in, I wouldn't have considered that a bad beat (but a really lousy call on my part). See you again at the next tourney. MR | ||
