| Phew. I sat down at a 5/10 table (online). Apparently a maniac had just sat down before me too. This guy raised EVERYTHING pre-flop until the betting was capped if he could. He bet and raised all the way to the river every hand. If he had it on the river, he bet/raised. If he didn't, he sometimes bet/raised and occasionally folded. He proceeded to take about $500 from me in about half an hour. Cracked my Aces when he made two pair with T2o and a 2 on the river. I was so upset. I almost threw my monitor across the room. But I didn't let myself go on tilt and I didn't leave the table, because I knew what would happen. I started winning hands. I took back all my money from him and then some. Finally in a 19 hand run the guy went from $675 to bust. It was amazing. I was elated. Point is I've never experienced such a flux in emotion during a card game. I think I need a nap now. I feel completely drained. Johnny. | ||

| See it all the time at the live tables at casinos. I sit down with my friend and we see a guy with chips to his chin. I watch his play for a few hands. My friend says "Wow that guy is raking it in" I tell him "Watch, his chips will go up and down and eventually down" sure enough they do, problem is you have to be careful he does not take them from you and give them to someone else. I have gotten beat by river-boys who end up passing my money to someone else. In your case you won it back but usually I hit a new table. Its no fun playing with a maniac. Good Luck! | ||
