| For a exas Hold-Em Beginner, would this be the BEST book for me to learn from? Are there any thoughts on this book? Thanks! | ||

| Hey Robbins, Welcome to LLHE. The first two books I read were Sklansky's Hold Em. It is excellent, but does not totally address low limit. He bases the book on 10-20 games. The second book I read was Ken Warren's Winning Low Limit Hold 'em. This was extremely informative for me. I know others will have some good choices as well. Good luck, DJPoker | ||

| I just started reading Winning low limit hold'em by Lee Jones. I really like it so far. Only problem is the pages started falling out a soon as I started reading. Indiana Kid | ||

| Winning Low Limit Holdem by Lee Jones and/or/both Hold "Em Excellence "A winner for life" by Lou Krieger. They are both good books. ps. all holdem books say the same things just the authors say it different. | ||

| Hey Robbins, Winning Low Limit Hold'em is in my opinion the best book for starting out in low limit Hold'em. It was the first book I read. I got it a month before I turned 21 and learned everything in it before setting foot in a casino. I started out winning and my game has progressed from there. I say, buy it, read it, practice it, then move on to Middle limit Hold'em by Jim Brier. KID | ||

| Lee Jones is a great book for a beginner. My thoughts are that if you can answer every question in the book and understand why the answer is what it is, you can beat a loose passive low limit game. Poker for dummies is also not bad for a beginner. | ||
