| ...Just so you know, I'm setting you up for next time. I want better odds! Truth is, it was one of the oddest tourney openings I've ever seen. In the first 12 hands, I got AK twice, AQs once, TT once, and AA once (and busted out losing to trip Ks---although I played that hand terribly and never should have called the all-in bet). Just goes to show, cards help, but patience is better! Wait 'till next year (or month). Lord knows, I can't do any worse! | ||

| Hey...don't sweat it. Not only do you have to get good starters, you have to hit those hands when somebody else also has a good hand but your hand either holds up or you get lucky enough to out draw them. It's all about timing. Yes, you have to have patience and good reading abilities over your opponents, but the *timing* in a tournament, because it is a short term event, has to be on your side. If you hold K-K but your opponent holds A-A, well then that was just bad timing for you, there's not much you can do sometimes. I'm sure you played well....you were probably just up against alot of powerful hands during the tourney or you just got out-flopped or out-played. That does happen, and it happens to everyone, so like I said, don't sweat it, just look to see if you may have played any hands that could of cost you some valuable chips there. If you did your best...than that's all you can ask for. Someone has to win....and someone has to....) Good luck in your next tourney. 4 POKER | ||
