| Perhaps somebody should record the places that everybody finished in this tourney. Thus we can track all of the players' finishes over multiple tourneys and generate agregate scores for people. Should make things interesting. | ||

| Planet Poker uses a formula to determine a rating for tournament players. Ranking Position Calculation A player's score in a given tournament is based upon where they finish in a tournament relative to the other participants. Their position is converted into a score using the following formula: Player's Score for a Tournament = (1 - (Finishing Position divided by (the Number of Players in the Tournament + 1))) x 100 All the scores for a player in a particular category are calculated and the lowest 50% finishes are disregarded. The remaining scores are averaged using the formula: Player's Ranking Score = (Sum of the top 50% of a Player's Tournament Scores divided by the Number of Tournaments) on 18. | I think we should award points based on amount of money won as a percentage of money in play. Basically whatever percentage they got paid out should be tallied and added for each tourney and divided by the number of tourneys played. | ||
