| You should keep track of the game type-limit-date-hours-winnings and location. Plus keep notes on the play and your performance on an attached sheet...Over time you will pick up trends and tendencies in which you will learn much about yourself, your opponents, your limitations and your ability. | Hi. Purchase a program called Stat King (it is about $30), which at a minimum forces you to record date, location, game, limit, hours and result. Stat King then gives you a ton of information, a lot of which is very useful. Being able to look at standard deviation (for example) by game, hours played, location, limit is incredibly helpful. You learn a lot abut your game. I am not affiliated in any way with the product except as a happy customer, who has told many other pros and players about it and they are happy customers too. | Track each session by date and number of hours played, limits played, and win/loss. It is also a good idea to write some notes about each session in terms of how easy the game felt, how you felt about your game, if you took a lot of bad beats or if you got lucky to win some monster pots. | ||
