| Hello, I just opened a neteller account, but since I live in Maryland they will not accept an EFT or credit card deposit. It turns out the state has labeled them some sort of online gambling company. Can I just use my VISA to deposit money? I've read other places that the credit card companies will not allow this. | It depends on your credit card. Some credit cards block purchases with casino/poker sites. Mine does. Check out firepay.com and citadel. I used citadel to fund my UB account. Works as an electronic check. You give account info, they verify, then you can make deposit like writting a check. | ||

| i was pretty PO-ed about that as well (i also live in maryland). i switched over to firepay which does electronic checks (which are somehow different than EFTs) so there are no problems. the e-checks are also instant! no more waiting 3-4 business days for neteller to clear. the only downside is that there is a $1.50 service charge....such is life. maryland sucks ;) -joey | ||

| Probably depends on the bank that issued you the Visa card. I have no problem using mine, but I live in Canada where nobody cares about this sort of thing. I would suggest that you try it and see what happens. | ||

| I dont live in maryland but have a chevy chase acct in bethesda and I can cash out through neteller at least. | ||
