| Relevant Questions and Issues: upf2004wsop@ev1.net The 2004 World Series of Poker will be held April 22nd - May 29th. (file those dates away) The final event will take place from May 24th - May 29th. You'll notice that they have added a 6th day to the final event, as they are anticipating 1000 participants next year. Pointedly speaking, the unscheduled-to-this-point UPF meet & greet will best be served the weekend before, either the 22nd or 23rd. Plan on it being one of these 2 days. This gives everyone a chance to get to Vegas on a weekend, relax, and get ready for Monday if you so choose. The details of the meet & greet are inconsequential to this point, but at least we have logical dates to work with, as some of you have asked to prepare vacation schedules and the like. | We'll also have to find a good venue in which to meet. We'll need somewhere that can accomodate us for a meal and a round table type discussion. Perhaps Wren could ask Alan S. and the rest of the Wednesday group for suggestions on meeting places in Sin City. | ||

| Don't know that we want to open that can of worms now, but my plan was to get everyone's email addresses, mail them a survey, then tabulate the results before posting the majority decisions. This way, we're not going back and forth for months trying to determine which hotel buffet to meet at, at what time, with back up plans. In due time, but good thinking.
