| Hey Greg, Welcome! Well....in two years you'll be able to head on down to AC or Foxwoods (or even up to Canada) for some nice casino action! Actually, the legal age in Canada may be different than here in the states but whatever....just keep playing with your buddies.....experience is the best way to learn. 4 POKER P.s. "See ya in Atlantic city in about 2, ok?"! | ||

| in response to advice from a few people here, i'm thinking about taking a drive out to Turning Stone outside of Syracuse, NY where the age is 18 (no alcohol is served there) or driving up to Brantford Charity Casino in Ontario where the legal age is only 19. thanks for the welcome. | ||

| I'd highly recommend taking a shot at Brantford. The 5-10 there is quite soft and the employees there are all very friendly and competent. If you're heading down on a weekend though, try to get there early-ish on a Friday evening or Saturday morning/early Saturday afternoon; you should be able to get a seat within a half hour to an hour then. Late Friday evening and Saturday evening, the waiting lists get quite long. Rake for the 5-10 is 10% up to a max $5. Here are some links w/ more info, directions, etc: http://www.casinocity.com/ca/on/brantford/brantfor/ http://www.midwestcasinoguide.com/ontario/brantford%20charity%20casino.html | ||

| Welcome to UPF greg. Unless you have read the article already, you may want to read "Fortune's Smile" (Go to www.google.com and search under Fortune's Smile). It is a good read and appeals to a lot of beginner players. Good luck and play well. flintsword | ||

| Welcome greg. Good to have you here. If you're interested in playing some casino poker, you might think about crossing the border and heading to Brantford, Ontario. It is about a 1h45m drive from Buffalo, you can play if you are 19+, and the action is wonderful. There is a 5-10 game that is very soft and in US dollars that is about 3-6 or 4-8. If you plan to take the drive up at some point let me know and I'll see if I can't be there. | ||
