| I had to post this so I could see stdioh pout! UB lady (she is sooo nice, her name is Caitlyn, she is 32, and a Virgo I think! ;) said that they would match the $5 or do the same for a $10 or $20 tournament up to $500. That is $500 FREE CASH to our peers here! I told her we will most likely go with the $5 but wondered if we could still have the $500. LOL She also said that UB would provide BOTH hats for the prizes. | Great. This is really perfect. I doubt that we are going to get 100 players in this tourney, so I think that we should make it a $20 event for sure. Passing up more bonus money into the tourney would be silly. And great work with your efforts to coordinate this one TK. | ||

| The Planet poker chips are weird. They feel like a different kind of clay and they stick together funny. Very difficult to shuffle. And, they have Mike Caro's face on them. | IMO, given this new info, $10 + 1's probably the optimal choice. With some enthusiastic, uh, "recruiting" on our part, we should be able to get 50 players and therefore max out UB's contribution. Furthermore, most people seem to prefer a cheaper tournament. | ||

| She's right. If you were going to put in $5.50, bring your lunch to work 1 time next week....and use that extra $5.50 on the tourney. As for recruitment.......we have had a few threads hit the limit lately, so if someone hasn't run into this banter, they never will. on 11.
