I'm from Oregon and I've been to both of these casinos but havent played poker at them. (It was before I was really comfy playing in a casino.) I did go in and watch a little 7 stud at Spirit Mountain. Does anyone happen to know if they have a 1/2 dollar hold 'em game at either one of these? I emailed them trying to find out some info about limits and stuff, but haven't heard anything back.

To answer your question, I would probably just go to whichever one is closest to you and give it a whirl. If you take a beating at one place, maybe go to the other. If I knew anything about the game limits at these places it might be an easier decision too. Are you looking for a high roller game, or low limit? Hopefully someone in here can give us some info about limits and what kind of games you would find yourself in.

Thanks.
I am looking for a low limit game.
I played blackjack at Spirit Mountain and got KILLED.
In Vegas I made decent money at Blackjack but not at Spirit Mountain. They were using 6 decks and it seemed like the dealer got a BJ every 6 hands.

Anyway, Poker is my game of choice so I will see what else I can find out.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the lowest Hold Em they have at either of those casinos is 3/6. I think they have an 800 number in the phone book if I'm not mistaken.
