Hey buddy can you spare a chip?, TKarrde, 9. Jul 2003 11:03 | ||

| No... I'm not looking for handouts. But I am looking for some new and interesting Casino Chips. I've just gotten interested in collectiong Casino Chips in the last 6 months. Ever since a buddy of mine who knew I was getting into poker brought me back a Binion's Hall of Fame chip. So what I would like to ask is this: Does your local casino have an interesting chip? Maybe they are real unique or colorful. Maybe you see limited edition chips while you are playing. Anyway I'd love to get some new and interesting chips to impress my chip collecting buddies with. Especially any of those from Canada (hint, hint, std&wren) or overseas (hint, hint, Chase). Of course I would pay for the chips and the postage. Just email me if you would be willing to do this for a fellow UPFer. sbirrel@kimball.com Thanks!! TK If anyone else thinks chipping would be fun go to www.thechipboard.com | ||

| Hey TK. You're a regular here and I've enjoyed what you've had to say. I wouldn't have a problem mailing you a white chip from Brantford when I get around to it. And don't worry about the postage or the cost of the chip. What's a couple of bucks? I will need to know where to send it though. You can email me your mailing address at hercules_rockafeller@hotmail.com | ||

| Hey, if you're interested, I'll send you a white chip from Casino Arizona. Same deal as studioh: no charge, just enjoy it. Just email me your snail-mail address. My email is: kojak514@cox.net (That's my junk-mail address, so put "MozMan" in the subject so I will recognize it and not delete by mistake. Thanx!) -Moz "The reports of my assimilation are greatly exaggerated." | ||

| Hello TK, I heard one of the dealers at Mohegan Sun saying that they had the only $3 chips in the country. Not sure if it's true but I'll send you one if you like. Snorbolus on 9. | CAZ has $2 and $3 chips too... but they only use the $3 chips for the rake, they are never actually in play. -Moz "The reports of my assimilation are greatly exaggerated." | ||

| Definitely the $2 chips. I'll ask about the $3 chips. If I can get one of each ($1, $2 and $3) then I will make you an even trade for 6 $1 chips from your local B&M. -Moz "The reports of my assimilation are greatly exaggerated." | ||

| No, just thought they'd be nice to have around. For a price as low as $6, an even trade would be worth it. And I could play with them while playing online poker. -Moz "The reports of my assimilation are greatly exaggerated." | ||

| $3 chip?!?!? That would be cool!!! Can you throw in $1 chip too. I think it will be neat to go through my chip collection and see certain chips and think of some of my fellow UPFers. Send me an email to sbirrel@kimball.com and we can exchange addresses so I can send you the money for it. Thanks!!! TKarrde "The next best thing to playing and winning, is playing and losing." | ||

| I just got back from a looong session......and they weren't playing with the chips we talked about. The chips I have are better than these. The chips I talked about only get played in the higher limit games.......so it may be a while. on 11. | Hey I collect $1 chips myself. Got about 35 of them myself. I started collecting them from casinos in general, now I limit it to the casinos I play cards at. I can get you chips from any of the southern La. Casinos if you want. I worn you that the grand - coushatta chips are very old and grimy. If I can get my bankroll up, in sept. I will be in the Albuquerque (spelling?) casinos and can get a chip or two for you there. | ||

| I'll take any chips!! Old and grimey are good. Most chips clean up well. Besides, gives them character. I'll send you some chips in trade. I don't have many from Cali. I think I have a $1 Hustler. It is quiet plain but oddly enough I really like it. Email me at sbirrel@kimball.com. Thanks, TKarrde "The next best thing to playing and winning, is playing and losing." | ||
