| I am considering buying some software to help me become proficient at the game. Wilson's Turbo Texas Hold Em and another offered by acespade.com have been suggested. Anybody know anything about these two? ANy comments to offer? The acespade software is supposed to be less cumbersome and more true to life games that Turbo Texas but that may just be a sales pitch. Comments anyone or alternate software suggestions?? Looking forward to response...and thank you. Stan from Chicago | ||

| Thanks for the advice and I hate to sound unintelligent but i am not much of a technophobe. How do I go about using the search engine, as you suggested? The only things i was able to find was people talking about the various on line poker sites and nothing about whether their purchase of software enhanced their knowledge and ability to play the game. One person mentioned Wilson's Turbo Texas Hold Em but just in passing. If you have the time and in the mood, please respond. Thanks, Stashie T | ||

| Hi Stan, No problem. Click on "search" at the top right of the page. Enter the words "turbo" and "texas". Make sure that all of the check boxes on the left are selected. This is important since you'll want to search archived messages. Also, make sure to click "search all groups". This is important because you'll want to search the Not Quite Poker forum as well. I came up with 74 messages. A few looked pretty good. Let me know how you did. | ||
