blackjackinfo is a great site. They have a simulator there that you can set up and play against and have it correct you when you make a mistake.

Hi Robbins. I used to play winning blackjack before I moved off into playing serious poker. First of all, any good blackjack player will tell you that if you are smart enough to make money at blackjack then you are smart enough to make money at poker. And it is nice to be able to walk into the casino and not have to worry about being noticed.

But if you have your heart set on playing good blackjack, the two most important things are reading and practice. Buy Frank Scoblete's book and buy Standford Wong's book. Both are essential as far as I am concerned. Then go to a dollar store, but 6 decks of casino cards, and start practicing. When you get good try and watch TV while you play - it is important to be able to deal with distractions while you play. Try talking on the phone while you play too. When you're sure that you are playing winning blackjack, hit the casinos, but make sure you have a bankroll. Playing flawless blackjack with a good rule set at a $10-$100 table will make you about $20/hour, but there is a 1% chance that you lose $4000 before you get to the long run and turn things aroung.
