Hello Folks,

I am not an online player, so please exuse my ignorance, but could some one provide me with a brief explanation of what a sit'n' go tourney is?

Thanks Bill A.

It is probably best to give you a practical example. You want to play in a SitnGo single table Holdem tournament. You pick a seat, click to get in, they ask you for your entry fee, you pay (for this example) $10+$1=$11, and wait for the table to fill up. The prize fund is made up of 10 players x $10 = $100. The extra $1 is the site's profit, so they make $10 ... :) First place is $50, 2nd is $30, and 3rd is $20. Fourth place through to tenth place gets "A deluxe set of bladeless knives without handles", ... or in better words: nothing.

Play well with good cards and you are in the top three. Play like a wild man with low cards and you will be out pronto.

Keep a notebook (Do a search in the UPF archives for "notebook" and you will find good advice for that), play well, have fun, and I hope you come out on top in some of those tournaments. Good Luck!

A deluxe set of bladeless knives without handles! That's hysterical LOL!

Great post though, very helpful.
