| Hello Party Poker, Maybe you are unaware that the thousands of people who joined this site because of its reputation, are now reconsidering and questioning your integrity to make everything run properly again. The constant "crashes" and network "lagging" is costing your customers millions of dollars and the site that was once enjoyable to play at, has become a place where I am afraid to have my money at. I played at your site the other day and the connection (due to your overflow of customers) failed at least 50 times during the course of two hours. Players were constantly being disconnected during their hand, they were not able to play out their hand (losing bets) and because of that, they and myself were losing money because of a problem that you are neglegant to correct. What good is it to announce that you now have 10,000 players on your site if you can honestly only service 3,000? It's really nothing to be proud of if you aren't capable of offering the best possible customer satisfaction as you once were able to do in the past. That figure that you're giving is only benefiting YOU, but all of your loyal customers are suffering from this now. As far as any bonuses that you may be offering.....let me put it this way....it would be like offering a couple to dine at your restaurant free of charge and then tell them that your place was invested with rats...."but not to worry, the meal is on us"! I think you should fix all of your problems first (or at least shut down until you do) ......become the reputable and safe site to play at again, and then maybe you can start "plugging" your site over the internet. 4 POKER | ||

Your first thought should be to upgrade the site to handle the anticipated volume before the fact rather than after the fact. | I am a long-time player at PartyPoker and recently sought refuge at a number of another sites. You guys have an excellent service team, a great concept (PartyPoker Millions Cruise), and now advertising. Virtually everyone here at UPF wishes you well and I would like to point out that it would serve PartyPoker's interests to address the insane crashes and slowdowns on this forum. Then it will be on the record and we will not waste time moaning about PartyPoker's site unreliability. PartyPoker would gain a useful dialogue with an excellent forum: "win - win". I was part of the qualification semifinals in the PartyPoker Millions last year. There were slowdowns and crashes, but all were dealt with generously with the players concerns given priority. I also remember the semifinal that slowed to a crawl (players were joking that they would qualify for a retirement cruise ...) then completely crashed midstream. The entire PartyPoker team bent over backwards to make it right. A special freeroll, another scheduled semifinal with extras thrown in, and the odd free entry to a qualifying tournament. You earned the respect of all players with the prompt action. I will end with this thought: PartyPoker was the small site that became big. There are a lot of other sites out there that could become as good - or better - very, very fast. As an example, PlanetPoker could modernize their site. Bugsysclub could start actively promoting traffic. Paradise could start their own advertising campaign. Before other sites steal the march on your site: face the issues and fix them in the short term. If the problem is a local one: change locales. If the problem is equipment: buy the equipment for 20,000 players now, instead of lurching from disaster to disaster. While you are doing this, tell the players the straight goods: they are intelligent enough to give PartyPoker the benefit of the doubt if there are good reasons. Almost a rant ... ***grin*** ...
