| I found out that Mohegan has a 1-3 Hold 'Em game (just right for my bankroll.) is it like 1-5 Stud where you can bet any amount between the limits or is it strict limit with 1 dollar small bets and 3 dollar big bets? I was thinking of heading up there this weekend. Hoping for easier pickings on the holiday. | ||

| I haven't been to Mohegan Sun for a couple of months now, but the last time that I was there the lowest limit Hold'em they spread was $3-6, fixed limit ($3 before and on the flop, $6 on the turn and river). Those games are usually very loose and passive. I usually buy in for $100-150 and have another $100 or so in my pocket. I have never yet needed the emergency $100. The next level up and Mohegan is (or was) $5-10 with a kill (at $60, I think). I have never seen $1-3 hold'em there. Perehaps it is new. Foxwoods (about 15min drive away) spreads $2-4 hold'em, (also usually very loose and passive) and $4-8 hold'em, my favorite. The $4-8 games are more aggressive but still very loose and fishey. I usually buy into the $4-8 games with $200 and another $200 in reserve. The next limit up is $5-10 with a kill (at $100, I think). Where are you heading up from? Snorbolus on 3. | Heading up from NYC. Probably going to take the bus. Doesn't get there until 12:15. I was going to try to get a few hours in. I'm supposed to go to the basketball game at 4 but if I'm winning, we can forget about that! I figured the holiday weekend might have players I can play well against. I would rather get there earlier, though. Any interest in meeting up? on 3. | Begis, I don't think that I can do it this weekend, certainly not during the day. I was thinking of driving up to the Woods late on Sat evening but I am doubtful even of that. Some other time though for sure. Drop me an e-mail if you like. Hope those turtles all crawl towards your stack, Snorbolus on 3. July 2003 12:19 beige wrote: > Heading up from NYC.
