| Just another example of the excellent customer service at UB. The other day, I ordered Phil Hellmuth's new book using some of my ultimate points. In the e-mail I sent them, I asked that they mark it as a gift so I wouldn't pay a ridiculous amount of duty on it like I had to pay last time ($20 on my Turbo Texas Hold'em). They replied right away, telling me that that had been a mistake - they didn't expect us to pay postage on our ultimate rewards. They said they'd make sure this didn't happen for me again, and they also reimbursed my account with $20. w00t! Come challenge me at the microlimits - I dare ya! ;D | ||

| That's why I keep playing there, even though some negative things have happened. They obviously do whatever is necessary to make things right in the end. -Moz "My name is Homer. I'm only here 'cause the court made me come." | ||

| I just started playing at UB and love it. Perhaps not as much action as at Party Poker, but I really like the software and the games are fun. I moved over from Poker Room and have been having a blast. I agree, UB is a top place to play. How do you guys think it compares with Party Poker? About the same? | ||

| I have had GREAT customer service there too! Just tell me the time and place, Wren... and I'm taking you down on a 100 point Sit and Go table... that is if you can make it to the final two. | Sounds great. We need to have a set time to meet and play a SnG!! But I have been transferring all my cash winnings to friends accounts so I am down to $60. So I'm playing pretty tight with the cash. But I'd love to do one for UB points! Won't be able to until next week. Busy busy weekend plans. TKarrde "You fool! | Actually I never thought of it that way. That is funny!! No, actually I thought I had been doing well. I deposited $50 and a few weeks later withdrew $60 to leave me with $60. Since then some friends of mine opened accounts but were wary of transferring money online. By that time I had built up a nice amount. So between 4 guys I have transferred $200 to them. A couple needed more than one transfer once they realized they can't play the same way they do in our home poker games. But I DID try and warn them. TKarrde "You fool! | Hi Wren, I think you are the same Wren I played with at Poker Stars during their BETA testing phase. Question: Is Wren for a bird or for Women's Royal Enlisted Navy. Anyway, wrens are nice little birds, and the W.R.E.N.'s aint bad either. When my ship pulled into Malta in the mid 60's the WREN chief petty officers threw a part y for the CPO's of our ship. In the summer of '55, while stationed at Great Lakes NTC, made a fishing trip to Canada and met a nice air force or Navy (cant remember which) girl at a dance. Her and her brother invited me to their home for breakfast with them and their family the next day. Anyway, reminescing aside, I may re-download UB's software and have another go at it, just so you can teach me some new fancy plays....lol My nick there is Diogenes. He was another world-class tilter; and, by the way, I have not yet found an honest man at the poker tables, except for GCA Russ on RGP. I would love to play a SnG there if it were limit $5 or $10. If it were NL, I would surely be an observer after a couple of big plays :-) Don Quixote (the onlinechamp of lost causes) on 2. | Don, Was Diogenes your name on Stars too? If so, I remember chatting with you back in the day :O) My nick was actually snarfed off of an old friend of mine from highschool. Her name was Karen and we shortened it to "Wren". I went by "Wrust" (a kinda-sorta shortening of "kristy"). When I became internet-enabled, I started on chat sites as Wrust, but didn't get much attention so I changed my nick to Wren, and it just kinda stuck. Now it's my online poker handle, as I don't bother with chatting anymore :O) So, in conclusion, I'm not really a bird nor a navy chick. But if I had to pick one, I'd be a bird, since I have a pointy beak and all :D on 3. | Wren, I was PokerDog on Stars. I didnt stick around too long after BETA ended. The RGPers that hang there were too tough for me. Don Quixote on 3.
