New to internet poker, I am trying things at Party Poker. Play money so far. So far I note that the hands at showdown are gone before you can see what was played. I also tried to get on some play money tournament tables, happy they offer them, but cant seem to find any to get there in time.

Yeah, On-line poker does move at a really fast pace. Takes some time getting used to.

Party Poker is a good and reputable site, so at least you chose one of the better ones.

Good luck to you.

I've noticed that at party poker as well. Hands aren't usually diplayed long enough for me to read them in a heads-up situation, let alone a multi-way pot at showdown.

So far my favorite software is PokerStars, but Party hasn't been too bad.

At Party I've resigned myself to turning the Dealer Chat to summary to see the winning hand after each hand, and then switching it back to all to get the text for each play. They really need a bigger chat window.
