| Any thoughts on how to make your opponents over-analyze you and your play? I'll leave it open for interpretation. :) | ||

| I'm not sure why you'd want someone to over-analyze your play! I prefer to be almost unnoticed at the table. Here's some things that attract my attention at the table, tending to make me over-analyze: -- players who without fail take a very long time to decide their next move (btw I think these players are very annoying -- at least they rarely raise after thinking so long) -- players who habitually bet very quickly, for instance betting in the dark as the dealer is burning and turning, or who quickly check and then beat me into the pot with their call. (btw I think these players are very amusing) -- players who are constantly jabbering away about what cards they do or don't have, whether I should or shouldn't call, asking the dealer for a specific turn card, etc. It's hard not to be distracted by all this even when you know it's meant to deceive. The other kind of player I am prone to over-analyze is the type I am trying to become -- aggressive, hard to put on a hand, and hard to beat. There are very few of these excellent players around here, and since I really can't figure them out I just try to avoid them. NiceFella | ||

| Hey Fella - Admittedly, you will never want to play with me. I do anything to gain an advantage. That being said, I'm never outwardly rude, coarse, harsh, abusive, and rarely delay simply for effect. It's all gamesmanship, but it's all fair. Your pet peeves are personal. One man's trash is another man's treasure. on 2. Jul 2003 19:05 NiceFella wrote: > I'm not sure why you'd want someone to over-analyze your play!
