| I have recently been playing the SNG's at party and have found them as loose as advertised (one time 6 people went all in pre flop, one of which holding 9 5o) anyway I was wondering if you guys agreed with me on a theory I had about playing AA in these situations (especially first 3 levels), that being, push all in and don't think about it. That way nobody can draw out on you for cheap, you'll almost always get a caller (I have 3 out of 3 times) and you'll normally double up. Anybody agree/disagree? | ||

| Any high pair is best played heads up. When you start adding 2 or 3 opponents, your odds start to go down dramatically. Flushes get hit, straights get filled and 2 pair get flopped. With the all-in move being so frequent in sit-n-gos, no one really respects it. So be weary about going all-in from EP with bullets. | ||

| If you are in a cheap sit and go with dumb fish who push and call all in early on with any pair, etc, then yes, by all means shove in with your aces and try to catch one. I do that myself. If you're playing in a tournament against more sophisticated players then you're not going to make any money with them and you're much better off just making a standard raise. Basically I wouldn't shove in with them unless I had a specific reason to disrespect somebody at the table or smelled a strong holding. For instance, if the betting went, Blind-5, Blind-10, Raise-40, Raise-150, call and came to me, I'd be very happy to take that money now with them and even happier to get a caller, so I'd shove in and hope that one of the raisers would call me - essentially I'm isolating the reraiser here, but I've seen strange things happen like getting both raisers and both blinds. Nonetheless, your AA is so strong that even against 4 callers (especially when they have "good" hands and thus use eachothers outs) you are still a favourite. | ||
