| This is just an observation but it may strike up some interesting debate, here goes, when a player is winning a majority of their hands and I mean more than 70% I find it a wise idea to get out of there way on a raise no matter what position or style of play. For some reason the luck is too strong sometimes and I find that it is best to let the lucky ones be their own undoing. | ||

| Well, that would be a good strategy if you could identify the beginning and the endoing of a player's streak. Unfortunately, you can't do that, so I don't think it is a consideration. You need to concentrate on playing your hand to the best of your ability in the given circumstances. Now, this may mean recognizing that if the player has been running over the table and he is good enough to notice that people are scared of him, that he may throw in a loose raise here and there that don't necessarily mean the strength that he is representing. This should play a part in your strategy and card selection. But, as far as "waiting" for him to end his rush, I for one am not going to muck AA preflop just because he has won the past 4 hands. | ||
