| Just played my first party sit n go after months of paradise, and if the rest are like this there is NO comparison. I just watched somebody play 72o with a pre flop raise all the way to the river with a pair of 7s, 3 people were out in the first 10 minutes, this is rediculous, anybody else notice this? | ||

| I played paradise for 2 months, did average, maybe a loser, but possibly a winner but not by much. I started a part account 4 days ago, and have multiplied my buy in by 13 simply playing sit n go's. There's no need for me to play anything else to build a bankroll. | ||

| Party does have some soft sit and gos. I think it is the WPT airing and the ads they have on. Lots of people play the way they see on TV. As if they are at the final table of the WPT or WSOP. They push all-in with a face, and believe all you have to do to win is keep buying the pot. I like it :) I also find chatting it up helps. Puts newbies in good frame of mind, and lessen their threat against you. These people are not fish ( I hate that term ), they are IFs... Income Facilitators. Show em a little respect and you got a customer for life :). Insult them or make them look like fools, and you are just cutting your own 'purse stings'. I try and run my poker as a business. I play poker to make money,,, not accolades. Just my two cents...and keep the change :) ranwel- Official Hackee-Sak of the Poker Gods | ||

| Party sit n gos are the real deal. Just discovered them myself and have booked 4 out of 5 in the win column in the last 2 days. Just don't tell anyone else. | ||

| Forgive my ignorance, but could someone explain to me what a "Sit and Go" game is? And where are they at Party Poker. I can't see them listed as such. Thanks. | ||

| They are just single table freezeout (no rebuy) tournaments. They're called sit-n-goes because the tables are open, and you sit there until the table fills up, then the games goes until the last player has all the chips. -Moz "Truly, you have a dizzying intellect." | ||

| There are different structures. The most common is to pay out the top 3 at 50%, 30% and 20%. So, if it's a $10 + 1 game, then there's $100 in the prize pool and 1st would get $50, 2nd would get $30 and 3rd would get $20. -Moz "Truly, you have a dizzying intellect." | ||

| I think this thread should stop now. The tables textures are achangin over thar. Just kidding folks :) But I just left a table there, that was so tight that you could not get action if you played with your cards up. Just hope it not a thing to come. So lets quash this thread. Again, just kidding. ranwel - Official Hackee-Sak to the Poker Gods ranwel | ||
