| I have a question on the second last hand where Alan had a pair of sevens with two overcards showing on the river and Kiril checked to him. Alan could have checked, but chose to bet a relatively small 90,000. Kiril raised him 200,000 on a bluff holding nothing at all (he had 54o). Alan called and won the pot. --- My question is: Do you think Alan had Kiril pegged for nothing and put in the 90,000 to induce a bluff? We had seen Kiril bluff several pots earlier, but Alan wouldn't know that all of these were bluffs. If this is true, I'd have to say that was an incredible play. If that wasn't the intention I have to wonder what Alan was thinking betting on the river instead of checking. A weak bet (relatively small dollar amount) like that is practically inviting a large raise, ultimately leading to a player throwing away a winning hand. | ||
