Absolutely nothing and it's great! There is nothing like relaxing and not having a care in the world.

But there is also lots of other activities like eating, other forms of gambling, eating, day trips if they stop at any ports, eating, watching women at the pool and eating.

Hope this helps!

Change of air: The sea air is beneficial to your general health.
Change of pace: A cruise of any kind is an opportunity to relax.
Catch up on movies: Most cruise lines have theatres built in.
Informal, low impact sports: There are drop-in sports of all kinds.
Bragging rights: Some people like the idea of sending postcards from dozens of exotic locations, it is like ten vacations in one.
SPA on the Boat? Check it out, ... that is often the determining argument to go on a cruise, a chance to get some serious skin work and pampering.
Great opportunity to fumigate the house (I am really reaching for excuses here and this is the last one ... lol)

Eat, drink, sunbathe, swim, go to shows, play other casino games, and make sweet sweet love, to name a few options.

I've looked at some cruise maps in the past, and the poker room looks very small compared to the ship itself. Is it really as small as it looks? Is it jam packed in there? Is there more fish or more die hard poker players? Hows the Action? i know i know... it all depends.... lol

Hi,
Regarding the size of the poker room, generally we have from 8-12 tables in a nicely sized room for that amount. The Party Poker Million had 20. We stop our bookings so as to not make the cardroom too crowded... we only take a number that we can accomodate. Hope this helps! The games are primarily HE and O/8 and with limits from $1-$2 to $20-$40 and higher sometimes. True, it all depends, but those are our main games, with other limits and games mixed in.

Hi,
A poker cruise is just like a regular cruise, only it ALSO has poker. It has LV style entertainment and shows every night, about 13 meals a day, spa, gym, pools, organized and disorganized events and games, lounges, instructional courses, bridge, trivia, games and challenges, 24/7 room service, more than I can mention. You might want to take a look at our website at http://cardplayercruises.com/ and see what interests you. You also are welcome to email me personally and I can give you more info. Also, Linda Johnson has an article coming up in CP mag about just this question. I hope you will join us on a poker cruise, they are awesome!

Oh, I'm sure you'll catch Wren and I cruising on one of them within the next couple of years - as soon as we can get vacation time that isn't committed to anything else.

That would be great! You can request brochures by going to our website and also sign up for our newsletter, which we send out about once a month.

That is one option, but we have MANY other cruises! The PPM isn't until March 13, 2004. Why wait so long to take a poker cruise?
