| Well, this series is rapidly losing its original appeal for me. At least next week, the season finale, the show will be centered around the "defending the title" tournament.... Be prepared, folks, for a lot of racks moving all-in. The last few weeks, the direction of the show and its writing has been so scattershot, I don't know what to call it any more. Anyway: Last week's show (shown second tonight, as usual)- The whole "breakup/jealously ploy/setup scam" was pretty stupid. Hi, Bo D- haven't been doing much lately, eh? The first show (the new episode)- ugh! I really disliked how they're making the Laurel and Hardy team into lowlife stealing scum. I disliked how it seems we've gotten COMPLETELY away from the original G.A. premise of the show (Lucky was Theresa's sponsor.... and now he HELPS her gamble and revels in it?) I REALLY dislike the cavalier manner/attitude that is now displayed toward problem/addictive gambling ("I'll take a break from fighting my problem tonight... hey, I won fifty gees! What was I thinking about? Oh, wait, we can do the naked woman in cash cliche!") Mostly, I think I hate that the character that now serves as the moral standard of the show, the one that has the biggest claim to what little integrity and honor there is available..... is the junkie. When you're watching and thinking "Lucky is lucky that Paul is friends with him" you know you're in trouble. Well, maybe the writers will settle on one personal drug of choice next year and write consistant screenplays.... assuming the show is brought back. See everyone tomorrow or Thursday for the final WPT show of the season. What's the current over/under on stupid VVP comments for the Championship Tournament? | ||

| I lost interest in this show when the first two i saw contained what, according to my memory, were two hands.... one with 4 aces and one with 4 kings. Very original Gatchman Officially Licensed Dude | ||
