Avg $$ per hour online, DJpoker, 20. Jun 2003 15:19

As I start out, I'll be playing 2-4 and 3-6 hold 'em.
I was just wondering how much $$ you "pros" average per hour and when seems to be the best time to play a 4 hour session. I live in CA.
Also, I am already well aware of the table stats the the sites offer, but what does everyone consider a good flop viewing percentage? I look at that and of course pot average. What else is key?
I think 40% or better is ideal, but I figure you folks have a better idea. Thanks for the info. DJpoker

I like at least 50% seeing the flop, because I know when I sit down, that percentage will go down a bit. I also look at the "average pot" statistic. Personally, I like that to be as large as possible because I like wild games. However, especially if you are just starting out, you don't want to be playing aggressive games just yet.

Thanks for the info. I mean I'm starting out online playing, not actual playing. I love the quickness and convenience. I am just leary of getting ripped off, but after discussing things with you guys the past few days I feel somewhat more comfortable. I have been viewing many 1-2 2-4 and 3-6 rooms. Just like B&M if you watch a few minutes the table becomes clearer. Take care and good luck finding nemo. DJpoker
