| Well, I've moaned about this enough and probably left a sour taste in everybody's mouth. Yes, I'm still disappointed, but there's only so much bellyaching that is reasonable and I think I've used up my quota for the next 10 or 15 years. Hopefully we can all put this behind us and look forward to the next one, which I'm sure will work out better. Also, congratulations to Beigs and to everybody who placed in the top ten of UPFers. Hopefully things here can return to business as usual without too much residual BS. | ||

Now there are 80 or more. It's taking an hour a day or more just to keep up. Party Poker has had to shut down some games due to lack of capacity. Every Poker manager I've talked to here in Vegas is having an unprecedented increase in NEW players. Blame ( or credit ) the World Poker Tour. The events sorrounding the screening of "Stuey" are also part of that picture. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal over 1,000 people showed up-so many that 2 additional screenings were scheduled. We are in the forefront of the biggest boom in poker since hold-em was legalized in California. The poker community is notoriously slow to move, those who step up now , whether they are players, posters, or managers will be the biggest beneficiaries of this boom. Gary | ||
