| Hi all, Shame it didn't work out like we all hoped for. I had to work and when I came home I wanted to watch but had a connection problem. Still congratulations to the winner and fun to see mike was playing only that would have been $20 investments worth for me. Have not seen one hand from tourney discussed yet? Welcome to str82tko. Let's talk poker again. tommyhawk | ||

| Here's a hand............ I'm in 5th position with 10-10, I call with one EP caller, get a 3 more, including the blinds. FLOP comes A-10-6 Checked to me, I slowplay, then it's bet. All call to me, I raise. OK, not the smartest thing to do, as I only lose to A-A, but I wanted to win some $$ before...... OH CRAP, JUST GOT DISCONNECTED AGAIN........... It took so long to get back in that when I did get back in, the table played in fast forward speed all the hands I had missed, 4 or 5!! Finally it stops spinning, and I've got 4-2 in first position. | ||

| Here's the hand I made a real enemy on. It was the second round of blinds and I had been playing super super tight. so tight, that people would fold around to my Big Blind. I couldn't even look at chips without people folding around me. So, I decided that I needed to change my table image. I waited for a draw hand of some sort no raises so I could limp in, just to let people know I was playing. I picked up 35s. I was in late position, lots of callers, I called just to see a flop and then fold. I didn't know what the impact would have on my table image. I was just trying to see what would happen. sure enough, the flop comes up Kh, X(can't remember), Xh. So now I'm going to have to call the flop and hope I draw the flush. Sure enough, the turn is another heart. Now I'm in for good (I don't remember why, but it was obvious I was the only one with a flush.) One guy kept betting into me and I won a pretty good sized pot. After the hand, BigTexx (who lost and was now crippled) said, "Been sitting there all night waiting for a 35?" To which, I replied, "I was trying an experiment." Which was true, but he didn't like it too much. I didn't mean to sound snobby. He then was convinced that I just wanted to go to sleep and was trying to tank the tournament. Not a happy camper was BigTexx. I hope I don't run into him in a dark alley somewhere. That's the story I remember from last night. Beigs | ||

| 2nd round of blinds??!?!!?!? I remember you made a comment about or to BigTexx, just as we went to 2 tables, as your post came across to our table. Maybe you were rehashing the story, but it was very late by then. on 19. Jun 2003 07:19 beigs wrote: > > Here's the hand I made a real enemy on. | Later on, I got moved to a table with a player who was at my table when that hand happened. I must have been in the middle of a conversation with him when that happened. | ||
