I wanted to thank you all for the support tonight. While the cheering was a little distracting sometimes, it really put a smile on my face. Made poker more fun than it's supposed to. So, thanks to everyone who was rooting for me so vocally! It was great.

And thanks to those who rooted for the winner, OJUDE. I was feeling bad that s/he wasn't one of us!

A little? Between reading our babble and trying to respond I'm surprised you had time even think about what buttons to push let alone concentrate on your how your opponent was playing or the strategy that you wanted to play. Afterwards, getting ready for bed, I felt pretty bad. Just got caught up in the heat of the moment. It was pretty awesome to see you get down to felt twice and then come back to have 75% of the chips!

Great job, Beigs!!!

Strategy???

I had a really difficult time knowing what to play shorthanded so I sort of stuck to my full table game plan and played strong hands. I'm going to have to get the Turbo software and practice heads up and short handed play. But there was a lot of luck involved. I hope none of the 'good' players took it personally.

What? No strategy? I noticed no one ever flipped up their cards when they folded. Was that even an option? I usually avoid giving any info but sometimes use it in strategy.

Play some Sit and Gos. That was great for helping me learn Heads Up. And that is where you really gotta play the player and not the cards.

Make sure they take it out the correct way!! Pointed ends come out last.

I never saw that option, which I think is a crying shame.

Way to go, Beigs!
Hope your tournament victory wasn't too soured by the rest of us little "whiners" :O)
Enjoy Caro's Book of Tells. It's a wonderful poker tool - I've learned a lot from it.
