| Hi again all. I've been keeping track of my win percentage to percentage of flops I see in a sitting. It seems to me that I see about 20% of the flops in a given seating. I feel this might be too high. I've only been watching for the past few days though so the sampling may not be high enough. I have been winning about 50%of the flops I see. Do these stats sound good to you? I'm feeling that maybe I'm seeing too many flops but that my winning percentage of flops I've seen is about where it ought to be. Thanks again, John | ||

| Seeing 20% of the flops sounds about right to me. The question I would have is not how many of those do you win, but how many showdowns do you win. If you are playing 20% of your hands, you should be winning about 80% of your showdowns. If you are getting much lower than that, then you are probably taking too many hands beyond the flop. -Moz "Hey, your schwartz is as big as my schwartz." | ||

It seems to me that this stat might be taken as a measure of your aggressiveness (or maybe the timidness of your opponents.) Maybe in combination with your non-blind pot entry and win percentage. After all, you can rarely win a hand without showing it down unless you are betting your hand. Paul Stine College Station, TX | ||
