I have a question or two for you pokerreviewman...

Seeing that you visit the UPF on a regular basis and all...
1. How do you feel about playing poker for a living?
2. Do you think that there is any luck to poker or is it primarily based on skill?
3. Whatta you think about the UPF holding a tournament; do you think that's a good idea?
4. What game in your honest opinion do you feel is your best game and why?

okay, so maybe I asked more than two questions, but I'm always eager to listen to what everyone has to offer as this site is one where all of us can benifit from such informative and soundly advice.

What are your thoughts?..........

And thanks in advance for sharing them with us.

Well I will trry and answer this as best i can

1. I used to play poker for a living, the stress of poker for me was too great, I started develpoing anxiety problems etc. If i didnt have these weaknesses I would still be playing for a living. I know from personal as well as many friends expierience that playing poker online or in person can be done for a living. I still play semi-proffesionally, but have started working again to take the pressure off of playing, I personally find it more enjoyable this way.

2. I think over the extreme long term poker is 100% skill. Over a high enough period of time every one gets the same distribution of cards. So the only thing that seperates the winners from the losers in the long term is skill, knowing pot odds, playing only +ev situations, and reading people.

3. I think the UPF tournament is a great idea. Keep me posted on when it is, if i can fit it into my schedule i would love to play in it.

4. Personally my best game is Limit Hold'em. I have played stud, omaha, etc, but have found that Hold'Em is my best game simply because I have been most successful at it over the long haul.

Anyways hopefully that gives you an idea on where i stand

Thanks for responding,
Your comments and views were most welcomed(at least to me anyway).

I hope you can join in on more of the discussion at the UPF. Although you may not play poker for a living anymore, I'm sure you have some insightful info for everyone.

And again, Thanks (I was shocked that you even responed, and there's not many people who do shock me)!
Touche'!
