| We are headed to Vegas next week. I have a list of the weekly tournaments but was wondering if anyone has played them and which ones would be the best. I want to play some NL HE and maybe PL HE. Thanks, Don | ||

Specifically, the Friday Night and the Sunday noon no-limit hold'em. The single re-buy no-limits at the Mirage are also good. Paul Stine College Station, TX | ||

| Hey Paul- What are the buy-ins on those? Might be worth a drive after work today... -Moz "Hey, your schwartz is as big as my schwartz." | ||

| Hey Moz- We will be there 6/19 - 6/23. Let me know if you are going to play. It would be fun to hook up with someone fromt he UPF board. Good luck when ever you play! Don | ||

| I have to hit Vegas on weekends when I don't have my kids... that means tonight, if I go. The kids will be home with me next weekend... (we alternate weekends). Perhaps next time? -Moz "Hey, your schwartz is as big as my schwartz." | ||

| Sounds good! Our "kid" is now 21, still living at home, so we don't have to worry about that. I will let you know the next time I am in town. Good luck again. Don | ||

| Paul, Thanks for the quick response! We are staying at Harrah's so the Mirage will be great. I was thinking about the Orlean's tournaments so your info makes it seem like a good idea. Don | ||

| Although I haven't played in these tournaments, the Mirage spreads several NL HE tournaments on a weekly basis. Some of them have re-buys and the buy-ins are around $100 or so. Good Luck and have fun. 4 POKER | ||

| I played in a single table satellite for the evening tournament, coming in first, and can vouch for the play being tough and dedicated. Alas, I left Vegas that night I did not have the opportunity to get my "can kicked past my ears", so I chopped for the money and second place got the entry. I love the way the tourneys are run at the Mirage, ... Very pro and the tables are comfortable. flintsword | ||

| Unless you are a "really, really big fan" of Wheel of Fortune, avoid the Monte Carlo poker room. Just outside (and I mean ten feet away from the main entrance ...) there is a slots that shouts out "WHEEL ... OF ... FORTUNE" every ten minutes. It will drive you insane. That said, the poker was nice and the people there friendly. flintsword | ||

| The Orleans tourneys are cheap. No more than $60, but as cheap as $20 with bounties. The Mirage tourneys are either $60 or $120 buy-in.....Thursday night No Limit, Weds night limit. | ||
