| It really depends on the tournament structure and number of buy-ins. For example, the NLHE tourneys at my casino generally draw about 150 players, and have breaks every hour. They normally run 6-7 hours total. -Moz "Hey, your schwartz is as big as my schwartz." | ||

| The multi table tournaments that I play in @ Party Poker have 5 minute breaks every hour. As far as how long they take: That, of course, depends on how well you play, and how many people are in the tournament. On average with @ 230 entrants a no limit game last @ 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours. Me? The longest I've gone is 3 hours finished 19th. The shortest: about fifteen minutes. (went all in with a king high flush and got taken down by the ace) | ||

| The ones that I have seen at UB usually max out at 400 people and take at least 4 hours. I've made it to 10th and 16th place and those were about 3-4 hours. I've been in several times for over 2 hours just to barely make the tope 25%. And they have 5 min breaks about every hour. TKarrde "WHAT?? You went over my HELMET??" | ||

| Depends on the number of entrants and the structure. WSOP main event went 5 days this year. Some single table tournaments only take an hour. | ||

| But to answer your question, a typical tournament on ultimate bet will run about 3-4 hours and will have a break every hour(?) ... or maybe the break is every 2 hours - not sure. | ||

| I've played in quite a few Pokerroom $1 multi table tourneys. They top out at 800 players. I've made it up to 8th place and that was after the 3rd break. That means I busted somewhere after 3 hours of play. From what I've seen, the pokerroom multitable tourneys (they have a lot of freerolls) last a little bit over 3 hours. At that point the blinds are very high and only a few people (out of maybe 10-20 left) can even cover their blinds without going all in. From what I've seen at Party Poker, the blinds rise a lot faster at Pokerroom. | ||

| I played in one at Party yesterday (NLHE with 126 entrants) and finished 8th and I busted out after just over 3 hours of play. So, I think a range estimate of 2.5 to 5 hours is safe. | ||
