| still sucks. I stopped playing there some months ago, but decided to make a $50 deposit to play in the UPF tournament. I decided to play a moment ago and got a popup asking me to make the BB post. The popup blocked my view of where the button was, and I wasnt about to post the BB twice in a roll. So I clicked set out. It would have been my BB, so I decided to post after the button passed. Couldnt figure out how to do that and wasnt about to wait for the button to come back to me. Maybe the pro poker players representing them should stick to poker playing; or is it that they cant keep up with the young pros like those that post here. Venting, but if anyone wants to comment, please do so. I will await any comments before I go back and cashout my deposit. I had planned to simply donate $20 to that tourney because I knew I wouldnt have a chance against UPF players; but I wanted very much to play against you guys. Thanks for listening. | Just click the Post button and the Auto Blind button at the top of the window when the dealer button is on your immediate right. The software will wait until the button has passed and then post the blind for you. As for the pop-ups, the best blocker on the Internet that I know of is called AtGuard. This also comes with an interactive personal firewall, but you can ignore this option if you choose. A very effective hands-off tool that's quite a surprise for just a 1.5 Meg. download. Also give Planet a try anyway, you didn't even get your ass kicked yet. If Chris Moneymaker can win the WSOP, you certainly have better than no shot in a little UPF tourney. Challenge yourself to win that $20 tournament entry playing a little quarter - half poker with a $30 buy-in. Then you can take out your $50 and be freerolling everyone. | ||

| If you right click and drag on the pop up window, you can put it whereever you wish. "It takes two scales to find out how much a scale weighs" - George Carlin | ||

| Doesn't work for me Dude. Just another of Planet's many frustrations. A bigger one happened just a few minutes ago when I put my name on the waiting list for a table. I sat down to plan nickel/dime while waiting for my seat. Finally, I was advised that my table preference was ready, and I asked to be moved. My money was still back at the first table, so I went back and clicked on "leave." Then went back to preferred table and still no money. Watched while they gave my seat to someone else. Still cant sign up for the UPF tourney, and they have a limit of 300. I wonder if they will reserve the proper number of seats for UPF players that have notified Rhonda they were going to play. I am sorry, but Planet hasnt changed a bit in the last year or two that I have been going there and is still as frustrating as ever. I think I shall pull my money back out again and uninstall their "software". Damn the torpedoes, full speed astern! | Not that I have any business saying this, but I too was disappointed in Planet Poker. I registered so I could play the UPF tourney and played a game and just found the interface to be really awkward to look at. I managed to turn off the Avatars but I wish there was some way to turn off the chip animation and move the dealer text off the center of the board. Is there a way to do this? Of course, getting my butt kicked didn't help my experience but I'll chalk that up to my poor play. beigs | ||

| I'm sorry to hear that it went South for you. I've still never even created an account there (though I really ought to soon for the tourney), but I hope that you'll leave enough in there to play in the tourney. I think it'll be fun. | ||
