| Wanted to say "hey" and introduce myself. I found this site while searching for a good Poker message board. I like the feel of this board and the members sure seem to have lots of great input and info, so I'll be around here quite a bit :) I hope to be able to participate and add more value to the site. <br><br> I recently have been playing in card rooms and really enjoy it!!! I logged over 30 hours last summer on my trip to Vegas (it was EXPENSIVE, but the experience was invaluable!! I also have played in both ring games and tourneys at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, I plan to do A LOT more of that. Poker for me right now is a study, a hobby, and a passion!!! I look forward to contributing and benefiting from all of your knowledge. | ||

| Keyser Soze, Welcome! First question for you. Do you enjoy playing at Foxwoods and The Mohegan Sun? Foxwoods is having a good tournament in October and the side action is always great at that time as well. Personally I prefer playing in the mixed games at Mohegan, but both casinos offer a vast variety of games to chose from. Where did you play in Vegas, Mirage, Bellagio? 4 POKER | ||

| Thanks for the welcome 4 POKER!! I do enjoy playing at both places. I have played in both rooms Sat. early bird tourneys and in ring games at both. Is that the world Poker open or something like that in Oct.?? If so I plan to be aroudn during that tourney. I like both places, but probably haven't played as much as most, so more to come there. As to Vegas; I played mostly at the Flamingo, as we (my wife, daugther, and I) were staying there. I played at Circus Circus when we visited there, wasn't impressed! I did visit the rooms at the Bellagio and Mirage, but didn't have time to play :( Impressive rooms!!!! I plan to stay at the Mirage on my next trip :) :) "How do you shoot the devil in the back?? | Hey, The tournament is called the "World Poker Finals" and starts at the end of October(I think on the 27th) and goes for three weeks. Yes, Vegas does have some pretty fantastic poker rooms, that's for sure. If you haven't stayed at the Mirage hotel before you and your family are definitely going to enjoy yourselves here. It should be real convenient for you and your poker perhaps and the grounds(pool and dolphin area) are awesome. I noticed what I think was a quote from something at the bottom of your post?... Just wanna warn ya, Mozman is the king of quotes and uses them all the time! (just kidding, feel free to quote whom ever you wish)! ok, I give up, where is that quote from? 4 POKER | ||

| That's the one, "World Poker Finals" I plan to be down there (I live in NH) for that event, to watch and play in the side games :) The quote comes from the same movie as my user name, "The Usual Suspects" If anyone hasn't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it!!! We are really looking forward to our next rip to Vegas and have decided that the Mirage will be the place. I can't wait to get back out there!!! "How do you shoot the devil in the back?? | Welcome, Keyser Soze, to a great site with lots of players with real knowledge that are willing to critique play and help. I have gotten better since logging on here (somewhat inevitable, if you get my drift ...) and with your movie name (Usual Suspects, I believe ...) you'll get along well with Mozman and others. flintsword | ||
