| 500$ chips to start in a no limit holdum tourney... should i cap the blinds at a certain point? or keep increasing them? $5/$10 0-30min $10/$20 30-60min $15/$30 60-90min $25/$50 90-120min $50/$100 120-150min $75/$150 150-180min $100/$200 180-210min $150/$300 210-240min $200/$400 240-270min $300/$600 270->min should i just leave it at 300/600 once the tourney gets to that point? or should i cap it lower... or keep incrementally raising the blinds... just curious... because im expecting about 16 entrees... so there will be 8000$ in chips on the final table... | ||

| 200-400 or 300-600 is a good cap with that many chips in play. From my experience, it is unlikely that you'll get to that level with 16 players and only T500 to start. | ||

| Here is what I plan to do for my tourney in about 3 weeks. I am expecting about 20 people and will be starting with T1000. I know it seems kinda extreme. Limits go up rather quickly with antes thrown in rather soon and the rounds get shorter. I may change that some. But the reason is that I will have probably 50 total people at my house that night and I'm guessing that by the end of the evening I'm going to want them to start going.
