| I have been playing hold'em for a couple of months now. I have been regularly winning when I go to the casino and online. But I have only been playing $2-$4 and little $5 tournaments. When should I try to move up for bigger game? | ||

| I think it's fine for you to move up one limit at a time. As long as you realize that some game and/or player adjustments may be needed. The caliber of play may not differ that much from the $2-4 limit to the $3-6 limits, but the higher you go each time, there will be subtle differences in your opponents' play, and when you reach the middle limits($10-20 to $20-40), the caliber of play will change even greater and so on. But when you move up slowly the differences may only seem to be subtle ones, but they will be there for sure. If your bankroll can withstand the next limit and you feel totally comfortable and have the confidence to play your hands correctly and are still able to make accurate decisions and are not playing scared, then by all means move up one limit. Just keep in mind that if and when you do move up, if you for any reason are not beating this limit then don't hesitate to move back down for now. You still may need a little bit more experience and the more hours you put in and the more you can apply what you have learned, the easier the step will be the next time you try. Good Luck. 4 POKER | ||
