| Just a thought. Perhaps the regulars on here should post as to what our "home casinos" are so that if one of us is ever in unfamiliar territory on a trip, we'll have a poker ambassador for that casino or that city or that area. I know I'd love to do lunch and shoot the breeze with anybody who was coming up to my turf from UPF. So to get the ball rolling, here is info for myself and Wren: Home city: Kitchener, Ontario. Home casino: Brantford Charity Casino in Brantford, Ontario. Home speakeasy: in downtown Kitchener Other casinos with poker in range: Casino Rama in Orillia, Ontario. Great Blue Herron Casino in Port Perry, Ontario. The casino at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) in Toronto (runs Aug and Sep), The casino at the Western Fair in London, Ontario (runs in the Summer). So if anybody from here is around at some point, let me know. As for everybody else who cares to ever meet IRL, post your locations here. | ||

| I am in the Missouri State Penitentiary if anyone wants to stop by to talk about Poker. We have good games here. Most of the players make it through the game in one piece. But not always. | ||

| Home city: Mesa, AZ (suburb of Phoenix). Home casino: Casino Arizona, Scottsdale. Home speakeasy: ASU has a million... Other casinos with poker in range: CAZ has another casino about 5 miles north. Harrah's Ak-Chin in Maricopa. Ft. McDowell, Fountain Hills. Mazatzal, Hon-Dah, Cliff Castle and Bucky's are all up north in the cooler areas around Prescott (about a 2.5-3 hour drive). I'm not sure what the poker is liek at any of these. -Moz "There is no spoon." | ||

| I play in Woodstock, Ontario at $19 Canadian for 18 holes and it is a nice course. That's $14 USD. There's something to be said for living in a cold country with lots and lots and lots and lots of land. | ||

| Actually, the best time (financially) to play here is during the summer. You can often get onto the nicest PGA courses at noon or 1pm, when the temperature is about 116, for peanuts. i've played courses that will charge $150 for 18 holes in October and only $15 in July or August. Of course, we have lots of municipal courses too. They are not as challenging, but still well worth playing, and generally only ask between $10 and $15 regardless of the time of year. -Moz "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli." | ||

| Yeah, it can be rough if you are not accustomed to the heat. I spent a year cleaning chimneys in a plastic suit, and another 3 loading airplanes in this heat, so I can usually get by without too much discomfort... -Moz "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli." | ||
