| Arrived on Thursday. Played 20-40 holdem won $800.00 for a 9 hour session. Tight game for a few hours and then loosened up. Friday play 20-40 win $400.00 for 5 hours. The poker room was full and I smelled money. Jump to 50-100 and the game seems real tight but passive. Play for 7 hours and win $300. On Saturday I decide to play a long session so sure enough I did just that play until Sunday. I was stuck $1600.00 when the Tourist comes to the table, well he looked like a Tourist anyway. Tailored suit, Rolex watch lots of cash. The game is now 6 handed. So the new player sits right to my left, I thought perfect. Then he says why we playing so cheap boys? The whole table agreed to raise the limit to 75-150. So I figure he is my chance to get even and add some money up for the trip. The tourist played the first 5 hands and won 4 without a show down and won one with pocket queens. I never got involved. Now two people quit and its me and 2 locals and the tourist. I never played 75-150 before. So here I am. Win some blinds and one pot from the tourist. Now low and behold the 2 locals quit and the tourist saids to me young man I will play if you want? He has $7500 in front of him and I say OK, deal. Two and a half hours later I am stuck $4400 and realize this guy is no tourist. Anyone ever hear of a guy named Joe Moon? Don't let the suit fool you. He can play. | ||

| Ouch! When you started talking about the so-called tourist in the suit and the Rolex watch, I was afraid you were talking about Joe Moon. He is probably the best hold-em player in Atlantic City and when you had mentioned that this guy wanted to kick it up, I was CERTAIN that you were talking about Joe! There are other players in AC who play at those high limits that are also very solid and professional and if you ever go back there again I will give you someone else to look out for(will not mention HER name, but she is a tremendous hold-em player also and can be found playing at the $50-100 and the $75-150 limits as well.Joe Moon has been playing at the Taj Mahal since their poker room has opened back in '92 and for about 8 years, he has played nothing but hold-em. His other games are pretty solid as well(maybe a little snug at times), but nonetheless, he is an all-around good and winning player for sure. because Joe is not a tournament player and does not travel the circuit of tournament cities, he is probably not known by most but is definitely known and respected by those who play in Atlantic City. Ii told you to stick to the $20-40 game, that is the best hold-em game in the house! oh well, the next time you return, better luck to you...sorry. 4 POKER | ||

| 4 poker My trip was not all that bad, I only lost $1800.00. I really enjoyed playing at the Taj's an hope to visit again in September. Everyone treated me kind and the floor people and dealers were very professional. I enjoyed the food and the service.I have a lot of stories to tell to my friends and poker pals at the local house game. Best regards, Benzman | ||

| Benzman, Cool. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip, and yes, the amount that you lost was not that bad. I was surprized to hear you say that the $20-40 game was tight, that game is usualy great right from the start. I don't really think that the $50-100 game is usualy that good though and as far as running into Joe Moon, that will just give you more info for the next time that you do play in AC. Take care. 4 POKER | ||

| Joe Moon? What is he a full-blooded Indian or something? Sounds like a character out of Rounders. | ||

| That's funny. No, he is not a full-blooded Indian and does not look like a threatening player at all...but he is! 4 POKER | ||

| If you ever go to Atlantic City to play poker and you play high. You will evually run in to this guy. He plays ever game and plays to win. From what I saw an excellent card reader and real solid even when stuck. Caution don't let the soft talk and mild matter demure fool you. Good luck. Benzman | ||
