| No tournaments at Aztar. They have only 7 or 8 tables, of which 2 or 3 are 7-card stud tables. Where do you live, by the way? I live 25 miles South of Terre Haute. Don Quixote on 30. May 2003 14:14 TKarrde wrote: > Do you know if they ever play any tournaments at Aztar? > > TK | ||

| 25 miles south of TH? Would that put you at about or just north of Vincennes? I always dread driving bewteen Vincennes and TH. Those 10-15 miles south of TH seem to have so much traffic and so many stop lights. I live in Dubois County. Which is nicely located between Casino Aztar and the Caesar's riverboat by Louisville. And will be even better when they put up a casino in Orange County in 2005!! :) I just hope they put in a poker room. The poker room at Aztar sucks because it is so small. But I have been there before when they have 3 Hold Em tables going. The thing I found odd was that once a seat opened at the first table they would first grab the senior person from the second table. And then they would grab someone for the second table from the senior person at the third table. And all new persons sat down when there was an opening at the third table. That would seem to put all the "good" players on one table. If I am one of those "good" players I don't want to be playing with a bunch of other good players. Caesar's is nice because there are alot of tables, they play alot of games and limits, and... for me... they have a real cheap table $2-$4. Which is bad because it becomes No Fold Em Hold Em. But makes it cheap for a newbie like me. And if you are patient and your good cards do hold up they usually pay off well. I got heads up at a game there with the nut flush and a guy kept betting back at me. I reraised him twice before I noticed a pair on the board. Oops. So then I just called figuring he had the full house. The guy was going to probably put in all of his money against me with J-high flush. Damn! :( Maybe I'll see ya at the boat sometime! TK | ||

| Oh, I forgot to mention how frustrated/jealous I get when others talk about table selection. Table selection? I get to play where they put me! And that is usually after an hour or two wait! :( TK | ||
