 WPT - Anybody catch a website during commericals?, SendMoney, 29. May 2003 00:57 | ||

| I noticed during the WPT tonight that there was a commercial (a couple times) for a Las Vegas based gambling supply/book store that was selling Sklansky books for $19.95 (usually $29.95) with free shipping. It was something like gamblingsupplywherehouse.com or some such thing but I can't find it anywhere in Yahoo searches and I know I'm a little off on the web address. Anyone who can help me (maybe someone who taped it?) with this info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in Advance | ||

| It is gamblersgeneralstore.com Sounds like they have some good deals going...I hope Sklansky's tournament book is still on sale by the time I get there. | ||

| I did see that commercial and thought those looked like good prices. I wasn't as happy to hear my girlfriend comment "Isn't that the same book you have? How much did YOU pay for it?" | ||

| Thanks guys - as usual the members of this forum come through. I already have Sklansky's & Malmuth's Advanced Hold Em book, but now I think I'd like to get his Theory of Poker book and his Tournament book. I also ordered Turbo Texas Hold Em and Tournament Texas Hold Em directly from the Wilson website. Next I think I'll get the Cloutier/McEvoy Championship Hold Em tournament book, Brunson's Super System, and Caro's Pro Poker Tells video series. I already have Lee Jones Winning at Low Limit Hold Em book too. Maybe I'll check out Helmuth's new book, maybe not - I'd like to see some reviews and opinions on it before I make the investment. BTW I paid $29.95 for the Sklansky/Malmuth Advanced Hold Em book, but I got a good deal on a used copy of Lee Jones book on E-Bay, I think it cost $12. | ||
