| Glad to read your entire post Moz. I thought you were about ready to give stdioh a big (bigger?) ego and then we would need to send in Ms. Emotion (the lovely wren) to bring him back down to earth. | ||

| I'm not sure whether I contribute to, or detract from the swelling of his head :D I know one thing though - poker is the culprit in the vast majority of our little spats. It usually boils down to a dick-measuring competition. :O) | ||

| Not sure I want to know who wins THAT competition. ;-) Funny what brought you together is the thing that causes the most strife? Do you guys play at same table when you hit the B&M? | ||

| We try not to. We don't slowplay each other, and we're (not surprisingly) able to read one another pretty well. So why create a situation in which we're going to be playing against each other with a rake? We find it difficult to sit together at the computer when one of us is playing online as well. When one of us makes a move that the other doesn't really approve of, it's hard for the other to suppress the urge to educate or say "wtf??". And if the urge is not suppressed, then the one playing gets all defensive and pissy and sometimes a little tilty. It's just Not Good. But that's enough airing of dirty poker laundry :O) | ||

| That's funny (and smart). I know a couple that play at my casino prety regularly, and they ALWAYS play together. They will play Hold'em, Stud or Omaha. They have completely different styles of play, and they can't read each other at all. They are both very competitive and really get off on beating each other. I have noticed in the past that do not share a bankroll either. If one goes bust, he (usually, it is him, not her) must be content to sit back and watch until she is finished playing... though that doesn't happen much. They are both pretty competent players and can hold up pretty well. -Moz "Life is a dream. Live your dream, because we all wake up eventually." | ||

| Part of the reason I want to get off her table is just propriety too. It is very possible that Wren is better than me, but it is a dead certainty that she's better than the vast majority of the players at Brantford. Getting to another table is usually just a +EV table selection excercise. | ||
