| Going to Atlantic City in July. Can anyone tell me what the holdem games are like. I am looking to play 30-60 and 50-100 Are there many pros at that level? I hear the best place to play is the Trump Casino-Taj's. I was there 4 years ago and there was some good action. Well time will tell. Thanks. | ||

| I've heard that there are (above my level, can't help you there). I'm not sure that the Trop supports or even spreads a $50/100 game regularly, if at all. Good luck! | ||

| Hey, I live in that area and can tell you that the Taj Mahal spreads limits ranging from low to very, very high. They don't spread a $30-60 hold-em game but they do spread a $20-40 and a $50-100 game. The summertime is a great time to be in Atlantic City because there are just so many more tourists there and the poker room will be much busier, the games will be more plentiful and the weekends are fantastic. (Just a little note, the $50-100 game sometimes tends to be a little tight/tough but on the weekends it may be a better game. If you are willing to play lower, the $20-40 game is the "nuts"). The Taj will have around 6 to 7 games to chose from starting at the $15-30 level up to the $50-100 level, and about 2 or 3 games that are played at a much higher limit. The Tropicana spreads lower limit hold-em games ($10-20) but they do spread a pot limit game every friday night and it usually goes throughout the weekend. To answer your question, "Yes the games are definitely beatable as long as you're better than the competition"! There are pro's there for sure, but like I said, there are a lot of recreational and/or tourists there as well.(I could tell you who to look out for but that would be unfair. You'll find out real quick who the pro's are, trust me)! Good luck and let us know how you make out. P.s. (this is just a friendly reminder to you because you will be one of the tourists in A.C....
