 Help needed tp get cash outs in pounds stirling.(GB), Cpt Kernow, 23. May 2003 11:53 | ||

| I am reaching the point of wanting my first cash out from Party Poker. I want to take $500. I want in a cheque and I dont want to have to pay processing fees. Therefore I want it in pounds sterling (the cheque) Party will not do this. Fine I thought, just find a site that accepts Neteller and also pays out in £. Not fine as I have not found a site that will do this. Haven't found a Brit site that accepts Neteller (for deposits) and have not found a Yank site that pays out in GB£. Some Brit sights pay out via Neteller but do not accept deposits that way. Also, this is compounded by sites that have the policy of paying your cash outs to neteller to the equivalent of your first deposit via neteller. ( So if I deposit $500 via neteller the first $500 they pay out will be via Neteller also.) In short I need to find a sight that accepts my $500 from Neteller, then lets me cash that sum out via a cheque in £GB. I will then continue to play poker at this sight. | ||

| I dont play at Party but are you sure they wont send you a cheque in £ sterling ? 7 High's Chasepoker | ||

| Just so that everyone isnt down on party. No other major site (that I know of) will pay out cheques in pounds sterling. Do you know of any? | ||

Maybe you should open a new account at a bank with small fees for this service. I live in GER and made my cashouts from PartyP by check. My bank takes 7.5€/check. That´s ok. At present I loose more money because of the weakness of the us$. | ||

| Perhaps you can open a USD account at a bank in England? I know that Canadian banks all offer American Dollar bank accounts. Then, if you pressingly need the money, you can just convert the currency when you withdraw it and pay a little juice, but otherwise you can leave it there in USD. Then if you ever end up heading to America for a bit you can withdraw a USD cashier's cheque and take that with you. Just a thought. | ||
