| I am a novice player going to Vegas for fun and to hopefully check out some card rooms. I play 5/10 and was wondering where, near the MGM grand, are some card rooms playing near that limit. | ||

| I enjoyed Monte Carlo, which is right across the street from MGM. They have several 1-4-8-8 tables, I never looked to play higher. Decent size room, but they do allow smoking (could be a plus or minus depending on your smoking pref). I heard tons of people complain about the Luxor and Mandalay Bay poker rooms, I never went myself so I can't confirm. | ||
